Holy Angels Catholic Church of the Deaf

Dear Friends in Christ, 

At Holy Angels Catholic Church of the Deaf, we are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond. Through our various ministries and programs, we strive to make a positive impact on the world around us.

It has been nearly 32 years since Archbishop Mahony made the dream of a small group of Catholic deaf people come true with their own place of worship, where they, along with their families, could offer God their prayers, hopes and lives within their own unique language and experience of life. Years of prayers and discussion and, finally, trust in the Holy Spirit led them to ask the Archbishop for this special parish. They, of course, wanted to remain in complete communion with the universal Catholic Church but knew their community and individual spiritual lives would always be compromised if they were unable to pray in their own way, with their own needs. Our Lord answered their prayers, and we thank Him every day for this precious gift of Holy Angels Church of the Deaf.

I invite you to join us on a Sunday morning for mass, or join our livestream community on Sundays to feel the Good News of the Lord as it touches our mind, hearts, bodies, and souls.  We extend a warm welcome to you and your family to make Holy Angels Catholic Church of the Deaf your home away from home.
