Our Mission

We the people of Holy Angels Church of the Deaf humbly accept our calling and mission to participate in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Baptized into the Body of Christ, confirmed in the Holy Spirit, and nourished by the Word and Eucharist, we share Christ’s mission of priest, prophet and servant to the Deaf community of Southern California.

We pledge to pray and work for the sanctification of all deaf people; to proclaim to them the gospel of love, justice and forgiveness; and to seek first the kingdom of God in our individual lives and in society.

We affirm our oneness with the Catholic Church throughout the world, and with the local church of Los Angeles under the pastoral leadership of our Archbishop.

We dedicate our parish community to fulfill this mission under the patronage of the Holy Angels of God.
