RCIA Classes Begin on July 12, 2015

Interested in becoming a Deaf Catholic? Holy Angels Church of the Deaf is about to begin a Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults for individuals who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing or interested in becoming a Catholic. This class is also for those who have been baptized as Catholics, but have not learned about the faith or do not have the the other Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion & Confirmation). If you are interested in walking on this journey of faith toward becoming a Christian, please contact Dr. Tomás García, Director of Ministries, at drtgarcia@hac.la or for all other inquiries or information, contact us at that address also. Classes will begin on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM.

Women’s Fellowship: Scrapbooking

Deaf Catholic women of Holy Angels, other Deaf Catholic women in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and any Deaf woman in Southern California is invited to join us for an evening of fun, faith, and scrapbooking at our Parish Hall at Holy Angels

If you are interested in participating, please meet at Holy Angels on Friday, May 15, at 5:30 PM.  Bring your scrapbooking supplies and bring a snack to share!.

Lenten Retreat

Come and join us as we begin our journey for LENT. This all-day retreat will give you spiritual and practical tools / ideas to overcome things that can lead on a path away from God. Come and learn how to be stronger in community, come and learn how to be loved by and love your community! Lunch will be provided!

Ash Wednesdays Services

Come and join us for this special service to begin the special season of Lent. For 40 days and nights, we will walk with Jesus and He will walk with us. Lent is a special time for prayer, fasting, and helping the poor. Through this service, we mark the beginning of our commitment to better ourselves and help the people in our community. Moonlight Hiking & BUNCO!

Deaf Catholic women of Holy Angels, other Deaf Catholic women in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and any Deaf woman in Southern California is invited to join us for an evening of fun, faith, and fellowship while hiking under the moonlight at Coldwater Canyon Park: 12601 Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, 90210.

If you are interested in participating, please meet at Holy Angels on MARCH 6 at 5:30 PM for carpooling, then we will drive straight to Coldwater Canyon Park and begin hiking at 6:30 PM. After the hiking event, we will return to Holy Angels for an evening of BUNCO!
